J. K. Drummond Giclee Reproductions

We are excited to announce a new series of fine Giclee reproductions of J. K. Drummond's most loved paintings. This is her husband writing, and I treasure the prints because I thought I'd never get to see these images again. The Giclee's are proofed by Jae herself during production, printed on the same brand of watercolor paper Jae paints on, with archival quality inks that will last a lifetime.

Only one person gets to have the original, and as someone who watches them created and then has to see them leave, I know how lucky that person is. With the introduction of these prints, the rest of us can enjoy some of the value Jae added to that original piece of Arches watercolor paper. All prints are signed by Jae.

The Giclee's are produced by a local printer, Carr Imaging, and we are indebt to Patrick Carr for doing such a good job.

Here's the first print availble for sale online. "Borrowed Kimono" is one of Jae's best figure paintings. The original, a large watercolor, is reproduced here at 11 inches x 6.5 inches. Click on the image to see it bigger. Cost is $40, plus $2.50 for domestic shipping. Please contact us at jae@jkdrummond.com for shipping outside the US.

Weems 07 in the past

It was a good show. Good sales, good chance to talk to people. Resting and cleaning house and studio are now the agenda.

Weems Artfest

The posts have stopped because the painting has stopped. It's been framing, getting business cards together, bagging prints, etc. Weems Artfest opened yesterday. The shows are grueling, but valuable in many ways.

Reject

This one has been dropped. Reads too much like Amish porn.
