Nice work, i love the edges you are able to create with the watercolor. Btw, just read you and your fathers article in american artist, wonderful to see both your paintings and a little process, but mainly just enjoyed your color/ and forms, and your dad's awesome scenery. thanks!-inspirational. question if you have time, is there a certain way you lay out your proportions for the human form? anyways, thanks. t
Hi, Todd, When I'm painting women I tend to make their legs longer than strict realism would dictate and I tend to exaggerate the hip to waist ratio. Other than that I tend to eyeball rather than going by any of the standard propotion systems.
